What is it about Dirt and Boys?

Appropriately so Grayson was wearing his "Dirt Magnet" shirt Sunday when he was helping his Daddy spread dirt in the backyard. Jeremy was positioning his new smoker on some rocks and was leveling them with dirt. Grayson, of course, was just playing in it and not helping so I was called outside. I'm crouching down lifting the rocks and smoothing the dirt when a funny feeling occured. Grayson decided I needed dirt down my pants. That is right, you heard me, Grayson sent a handful of dirt down my pants. Nice! Of course Jeremy thought that was hilarious.

Smile

I'm sorry, I have turned into the annoying mother that bothers everyone with pictures of my child. But he is so cute I just cant help it. Grayson has just recently learned to smile. Grama caught this picture of him yesterday while they were finger painting. His smile is the cutiest thing ever, even with a bubble of snot hanging out of his nose.

5 years today

5 years ago today I married my hubby. It was raining and Texas was playing OU. Crazy how today Texas is playing OU and it looks like it is going to rain. Happy Anniversary sweetie!

Hair

One day Grayson and I sat on the floor in his room naming body parts. (It sounds weird but anyone with a toddler knows what I'm talking about). I'm pointing to my nose, "Grayson what is this?" and "Where is your nose?" and so forth. After naming eyes, nose, ears, mouth, teeth, shirt, shoes I turn to a stuffed animal and asked "Where is Jack's (the name of a stuffed horse of his) nose"? And he points at it, "Where is Jack's hair"? Grayson looks at me funny, gets up and walks out of his room. I am curious and follow. I follow him all the way into my bathroom where he had opened my bottom drawer and pulled out my Chi flat iron. I kid you not he was sitting on the floor running the flat iron through Jack's hair. Hilarious. Kids - You gotta love them.

Gymboree

Every Tuesday and Thursday Grayson hangs out with his Grama. They go to Gymboree. Here is a pic taken Monday just so you can see how big my baby is getting. What a cutie pie!
